Goal setting is the technique that can yield strong returns and enhance performance in all areas of life. As a first step in my journey towards my goal I opted for Information Technology in my Engineering College (okaraju Ranaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology) affiliated to JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, approved by A.I.C.T.E and an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (INDIA). My interest in computers blossomed during my school years.
It was the time when computers had begun to make an impact on the lives of the people of India. Hence Engineering with Information Technology as my major was the choice for my studies. “Success is the foresight and resolution: Foresight depends upon deep linking and planning in order.” Thus, I took EAMCET, a fiercely competitive exam for admission to an undergraduate course in engineering. I was placed among the top 10% of the candidates who took the entrance examination. This enabled me to enroll myself in the undergraduate course in a prestigious institution.
My Future goals:
It is the goals that keep me connected to my reason of living. India is a developing country with an enormous potential in the Information Technology sector. To serve the needs of this developing country and more importantly its vast population, programming is one to be of utmost importance. Thus conditions here are very conducive to supplement my aspirations when I return after completing my graduate studies.
Reasons for applying to your university:
It is a strong belief in my family that the American education system is one of the best in the world. Higher education would not only stand out as a manifestation of my burning desire of academic achievement with professional competence but also provide me with unique chance to test my ability to cope with the transition to a new setting, acquire new skills and improve my communicative competence, which, I feel are very essential to make my experience in the university a rich and successful one. On careful study of your prospectus and the website, I have found that interaction with experts is very open and fruitful in your university. I feel graduate study at your college would not only help in increasing amount of my knowledge, but will be a logical extension of my endeavors and a major stride in achieving my ultimate objective.
In Conclusion:
I am aware of the challenging path ahead in my post graduate career, but I am sure that I possess the requisite motivation, intellectual ability, perseverance and drive to do justice to a demanding graduate program at your university. Given the opportunity, I shall strive to achieve the deepest dreams of my childhood. An assistant ship besides reducing the burden on my parents would provide me invaluable research experience.
